- Conduct detailed site inspections and dimensional surveys of telecom tower structures.
- Measure and document tower geometry, including tower height, bay spacing, member configuration, bracing arrangement, and connection details.
- Identify and record structural member types, sizes, thicknesses, and orientations.
- Inspect tower members for corrosion, buckling, deformation, missing components, and structural deterioration.
- Assess bolts, gusset plates, anchor bolts, and structural connections for defects and integrity concerns.
- Evaluate tower verticality, alignment, plumbness, and foundation conditions.
- Develop accurate as-built drawings and structural documentation from field measurements.
- Prepare and validate 3D structural models using recognized structural analysis software.
- Perform structural analysis including dead load, wind load, cable load, maintenance load, and future loading assessments.
- Conduct member utilization, buckling, connection capacity, redundancy, and global stability checks.
- Determine remaining structural capacity and identify overstressed or critical structural components.
- Prepare engineering recommendations for immediate repairs, strengthening works, and long-term upgrades.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, engineers, and clients during inspection and assessment activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.
- Participate in technical proposal preparation, project planning, and tender support activities where required.
