1. Acceptance of terms

Your use of EnabledJobs means you agree to these terms. We take the confidentiality of information provided on the platform seriously.

2. User conduct

• Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Do not create accounts under a false identity or for fraudulent purposes.
• Do not create multiple accounts to unfairly improve shortlisting chances.
• Do not post defamatory, false, misleading, or sexually explicit content.
• Respect privacy, copyright, trademark, and other third-party rights.
• Do not scrape, mine, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform without permission.

3. Employer provisions

• Job posts must comply with employment, information-security, and IP laws.
• Do not post ads that require application fees, MLM, pyramid schemes, or club memberships.
• Do not discriminate based on gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
• Employer verification may require RC number, contact-person NIN, business address, and related compliance documents. Sensitive identity data is used only for verification and is not shown to candidates.

4. Privacy & data protection (NDPR / NDPA)

• Lawful basis: We process personal data to create and manage your account, verify identity where required, match candidates with opportunities, and improve platform security and service quality.
• What we collect: Account details (name, email, phone), profile/CV data for seekers, and for employers company identity and verification documents needed for compliance.
• Retention: Account and profile data are retained for the lifetime of your account and as required for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Some verification records may be retained longer where Nigerian law or regulatory obligations require it.
• Your rights: You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Where you request account deletion, we delete or anonymise personal data except where retention is required by law.
• Sharing: We do not sell your personal data. Sensitive verification data (such as NIN / RC) stays internal. Profile information may be shared with employers only as needed for applications and hiring workflows you participate in.
• Security: We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

5. Enforcement

Violating these terms may result in restriction or removal from EnabledJobs at our reasonable discretion, including loss of ability to apply for or post jobs.
