Perform precision bending and shaping of tubing using manual, hydraulic, and mechanical tubing-bending equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, tubing layouts, specifications, and bending schedules to determine required dimensions and angles.
Measure, mark, cut, and bend tubing to specified dimensions while maintaining required tolerances.
Carry out tubing installation, routing, alignment, and fitting in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
Inspect tubing and fittings for defects, damage, corrosion, or other conditions that may affect performance.
Ensure tubing bends are properly formed without kinking, flattening, cracking, or compromising the internal diameter.
Select appropriate bending tools, dies, mandrels, and equipment based on tubing material, size, thickness, and required bend radius.
Perform checks and measurements after bending to confirm dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Support the installation, removal, repair, and replacement of tubing and associated components where required.
Ensure tubing connections, fittings, and joints are correctly installed, secured, and leak-free.
Assist with pressure and leak testing of completed tubing installations as required.
Identify damaged or defective tubing and report findings to the supervisor or relevant technical personnel.
Maintain tubing-bending tools and equipment in good working condition and report any faults or calibration requirements.
Complete job cards, inspection records, measurements, and other relevant documentation accurately.
Follow all applicable HSE procedures, work permits, safe working practices, and client requirements while carrying out tubing activities.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and materials are properly stored after use.
