    • Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the approved curriculum.
  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments, tests, and examinations.
  • Explain theoretical concepts using practical, real-world examples.
  • Develop students' analytical, numerical, financial, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Assess students' performance and provide timely feedback.
  • Support students preparing for internal and external examinations.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
  • Provide additional academic support to students where required.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school programmes, examinations, and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

    • Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Geography, Business Administration, Commerce, Education, or a related discipline.
  • B.Ed., B.Sc., or B.A. + PGDE is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the relevant subject and secondary-school curriculum.
  • Good numerical, analytical, communication, and classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting, business, or educational software is an advantage.
  • Experience preparing students for external examinations is desirable.
