Key Responsibilities

Prasinox Energia, a leader in delivering cutting-edge solutions for the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Offshore Turnaround Coordinator to join our esteemed team in Luanda Province.

This critical role involves overseeing all phases of offshore turnaround and shutdown activities, ensuring seamless execution of maintenance, fabrication, and commissioning projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • ·        Coordinate offshore turnaround and shutdown activities from planning through execution and close-out phases.

    ·         Support maintenance, fabrication, piping, pipeline, erection, hook-up, revamp, mechanical, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

    ·         Monitor offshore project schedules, manpower allocation, materials, and logistics requirements to ensure timely execution.

    ·         Liaise with offshore supervisors, engineers, procurement teams, vendors, and clients to coordinate operational activities.

    ·         Track turnaround progress and prepare daily, weekly, and final project reports for management and clients.

    ·         Participate in planning meetings, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and coordination meetings.

    ·         Ensure all offshore activities are carried out in compliance with HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, and company safety procedures.

    ·         Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of personnel, equipment, and materials to offshore locations.

    ·         Monitor contractor performance and ensure work execution aligns with approved project scope and quality standards.

    ·         Assist in resolving operational, logistical, and technical issues during turnaround execution.

    ·         Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project activities, inspections, work packs, and close-out records.

    ·         Support procurement and material expediting activities to ensure availability of required materials and equipment.

    ·         Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

    ·         Ensure project objectives are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

    • ·         Promote quality, safety, and environmental awareness in all operational activities.            


    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.

      Minimum of 15 – 20+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas turnaround, shutdown, maintenance, or offshore project coordination.

      Strong experience in maintenance, fabrication, piping, pipelines, hook-up, mechanical works, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

      Previous offshore experience within FPSO, refinery, petrochemical, or Oil & Gas facilities is required.

      Good understanding of turnaround planning, scheduling, and execution processes.

      Knowledge of HSE procedures, permit-to-work systems, and offshore safety requirements.

      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project reporting tools.

      Strong communication, leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

      Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational activities simultaneously.

      Fluent English communication skills; Portuguese language proficiency is an added advantage.
