- - Coordinate valve maintenance, repair, testing, inspection, and certification activities across valve workshops and field locations.
- - Provide advanced technical guidance and troubleshooting support for complex valve maintenance and repair activities.
- - Ensure valve maintenance activities comply with applicable ASME, NBIC, API, and ISA requirements, OEM specifications, and Company procedures.
- - Provide technical oversight of process valves, control valves, safety valves, pressure safety valves (PSVs), and pressure relief valves (PRVs).
- - Review and verify valve repair, testing, inspection, and certification procedures and documentation.
- - Provide technical direction on valve disassembly, inspection, repair, seat lapping, trim replacement, assembly, set-pressure verification, pressure testing, and re-certification.
- - Coordinate valve shop and field activities across all Areas of Operations to ensure timely and effective execution.
- - Interface with Company representatives regarding work schedules, technical requirements, priorities, performance, and escalated valve-related issues.
- - Provide expert technical support for complex valve failures, recurring defects, and troubleshooting activities.
- - Participate in valve failure investigations and support root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- - Monitor valve maintenance work quality and ensure compliance with approved technical and safety standards.
- - Oversee the proper maintenance of valve repair, inspection, testing, certification, and traceability records.
- - Support performance reporting, maintenance KPI monitoring, backlog management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- - Identify opportunities to improve valve maintenance reliability, turnaround time, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- - Develop and implement technical improvement initiatives for valve maintenance and repair processes.
- - Mentor and coach National Lead Technicians and Technicians through hands-on technical guidance and structured knowledge transfer.
- - Develop and deliver technical training, toolbox sessions, competency development, and on-the-job coaching for national personnel.
- - Support the progressive transfer of technical knowledge and responsibilities to the national workforce.
- - Promote standardization of valve maintenance practices across workshops and Areas of Operations.
- - Ensure appropriate tools, testing equipment, spare parts, and technical resources are available to support valve maintenance activities.
- - Work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Inspection, Materials, HSE, and other stakeholders.
- - Ensure all activities comply with Company HSE policies, Permit-to-Work systems, isolation procedures, risk assessments, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- - Provide HSE leadership within valve maintenance activities and promote a strong safety culture.
- - Participate in audits, inspections, management reviews, and technical assessments as required.
- - Prepare technical reports, performance updates, KPI reports, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- - Perform other duties related to valve maintenance and reliability as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of extensive international experience in valve maintenance, repair, testing, inspection, and certification, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, or Process Industry.
- Professional engineering or relevant technical certification will be an advantage.
- Specialized qualifications in valve maintenance, pressure relief devices, inspection, or testing are highly desirable.
- Proven experience coordinating valve maintenance activities across multiple operational areas.
- Extensive hands-on and supervisory experience with process, control, safety, pressure relief, and pressure safety valves.
- Demonstrable experience with valve workshops and field maintenance operations.
- Strong experience in valve testing, set-pressure verification, repair, re-certification, and failure investigation.
- Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership and mentoring multinational or national technical teams.
- Previous expatriate experience in an Oil & Gas or similar industrial environment is strongly preferred.
