Carry out painting and coating activities on valves, equipment, structures, pipes, and other designated surfaces.
Apply primers, paints, protective coatings, and other specified materials using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, or other appropriate methods.
Perform corrosion control and protective coating activities to help prevent deterioration of metal surfaces.
Mix paints, primers, thinners, and other coating materials according to manufacturer and project specifications.
Ensure correct coating thickness, coverage, finish, and curing time in accordance with approved requirements.
Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as runs, sags, uneven coverage, cracks, peeling, or inadequate coating.
Carry out touch-ups and corrective painting where required to achieve the required finish and protection.
Protect surrounding equipment, instruments, valves, and work areas from paint overspray, spills, and contamination.
Clean and maintain painting tools, spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other equipment after use.
Safely handle, store, and dispose of paints, solvents, thinners, and other coating materials in accordance with HSE requirements.
Follow approved work procedures, safety requirements, work permits, and client specifications at all times.
Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure work areas are clean and safe after completion of painting activities.
Report any surface defects, coating failures, damaged equipment, or other issues identified during the work.
Complete basic job records and report completed painting and coating activities to the supervisor.
