Key Responsibilities

  • - Track material requisitions, purchase requests, and outstanding material requirements for planned and ongoing repair activities.
  • - Follow up with Warehouse, Procurement, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of required materials and spare parts.
  • - Verify received materials against approved specifications, purchase orders, work orders, and required quantities.
  • - Ensure materials and components are properly identified, classified, stored, and traceable.
  • - Maintain accurate inventory records in JDE-E1/CMMS or equivalent ERP systems.
  • - Coordinate material and component transfers between pump, seal, machine, and other workshop areas.
  • - Support the kitting of materials, spare parts, and components for planned maintenance and repair jobs.
  • - Monitor material availability against maintenance schedules and proactively identify potential shortages.
  • - Report material shortages, discrepancies, damaged items, or specification mismatches to the Supervisor.
  • - Support reconciliation of physical stock against system records and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • - Coordinate with technicians and supervisors to confirm material requirements and technical specifications.
  • - Ensure timely issuance and return of materials in accordance with established warehouse and material-control procedures.
  • - Maintain accurate documentation for material receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and inventory movements.
  • - Support proper housekeeping, material preservation, and safe storage practices.
  • - Ensure compliance with applicable HSE, material-control, and company procedures.
  • - Provide regular updates on material status, shortages, outstanding requisitions, and potential impacts on job execution.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • - Minimum 3–5 years of experience in materials coordination, inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management within a maintenance, Oil & Gas, or industrial environment.
  • - Proficiency in JDE-E1, CMMS, ERP, or equivalent material/inventory management systems.
  • - Good understanding of spare parts, mechanical components, inventory control, material requisitions, and warehouse processes.
  • - Experience supporting maintenance or workshop activities involving pumps, mechanical seals, rotating equipment, or machine shop operations is an advantage.
  • - Strong organizational, coordination, follow-up, and record-keeping skills.
  • - Ability to interpret basic material specifications, work orders, requisitions, and technical documentation.
  • - Strong attention to detail and ability to identify material discrepancies and shortages.
  • - Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant inventory/reporting tools.
  • - Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
