Responsibilities

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans in line with the school curriculum and educational standards.
    • Teach topics such as soil management, crop production, animal husbandry, agricultural economics, and environmental sustainability.
    • Conduct practical sessions, demonstrations, and field projects to reinforce classroom learning.
    • Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
    • Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance and attendance.
    • Promote interest in agricultural science by organizing exhibitions, excursions, and school farm projects.
    • Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and safety of farm tools, equipment, and resources.
    • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate agricultural concepts into interdisciplinary learning experiences.
    • Guide students on sustainable agricultural practices and modern farming technologies.
    • Participate in smeetings, workshops, and professional development programs to enhance teaching effectiveness.
    • Foster discipline, responsibility, and teamwork among students during practical activities.
    • Ensure compliance with the school’s policies, health, and safety regulations.

  • Minimum: B.Sc/B.A

    General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Education, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Agricultural Science or a related subject.

  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and instructional skills.

  • Strong knowledge of modern and sustainable agricultural practices.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students toward agricultural innovation.

  • Proficiency in using educational tools, Microsoft Office, and online learning platforms.

  • Passion for teaching and developing young minds in agriculture.
