Responsibilities

Harvesters International Christian Centre, a church based organization whose mission is to change lives and raise leaders is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of an experienced Digital Media Specialist for immediate hire. The successful candidate will be saddled with the following responsibilities:

  • The Digital Media specialist will work to develop, implement and manage campaigns that promotes, enhances and maintain Harvesters brand in the digital space.
  • Must have a strong user understanding and expertise in web content, usability, architecture, development and design.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Excellent social/digital media project management.
  • Design social media calendar
  • Execution: identify the messaging format for our various social media platform
  • Fluent in developing optimizations techniques to deliver the best user experience to our online followers.
  • Provide excellent management and leadership to web and digital media team
  • Manage all web and electronic related matters including content development.
  • Coordinates social/digital media platforms for the church.
  • Monitoring and analysis; provide weekly engagement reports.
  • Weekly reports to be prepared and forwarded to department head.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensure 3 posts daily are done across all our platforms.
  • Grow all our social media platform by 100%
  • Ensure top of the mind awareness for Harvesters brand.
  • 85% increase in website traffic

 


Minimum: B.Sc/B.A
Experience: 3-5 year(s)

General Requirements

  • A first Degree in Arts, Creative /Mass communication/Advertising /Marketing or any other related field.
  • Digital marketing certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 - 4years’ work experience, preferable in a similar environment

Personal Skills

  • A committed born-again Christian, with a personal and active relationship with God
  • Must be technology savvy and advice on latest digital marketing trends
  • Must have good knowledge of all Social Media platforms
  • Good copy and visual storytelling abilities.
  • Strategic thinker, planner and executioner, creative mind-set.
  • Analytic skills
  • People and leadership skill.
