Responsibilities

SDSD, a global company with offices in UK, Greece, Bulgaria, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Vietnam and Nigeria requires the services of a Technical Support Engineer for Immediate employment. 

We are currently looking to recruit a Technical Support Engineer, with good English to join our team based in our Ota office, Nigeria to work within our team. 

Working as a Support Engineer you will have the following tasks:

  • To analyse and troubleshoot complex problems in all areas, including Client/Server applications environment involving SQL, Windows platforms, and other environments.
  • Perform installations and upgrades of the company products at customer sites
  • Perform assigned work orders.
  • Take ownership of customers’ requests for service, manage the resolution, and report regularly on the status.
  • Be aware of changes to systems and understand how they affect day-to-day activities.
  • Work closely with the Account Managers and Sales Team to achieve optimum customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Delivery group and Development staff members. 

 

 


Minimum: B.Sc/B.A

General Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Windows environment (Server products, Client products, common MS software products).
  • Good understanding of networks and protocols.
  • To be able to work as a team member and individually.
  • Strong problem solving capabilities.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and have a flexible working attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position; you will be required to work 40 working hours a week
