Responsibilities

A leading sales and marketing company in the wine and spirit business in Nigeria is urgently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Retail Development Executive. 

Purpose of Job:

Responsible for the efficient redistribution of company products (otherwise called sticky lines) within assigned or planned locations in an area office.

Nature & Scope of Position:

The incumbent is based at the area office and reports to the Area Sales Manager and works closely with the Territory Sales Manager or Assistant Territory Sales Manager

Key Responsibility:

1.      Redistribution Achievement

  • Effective redistribution of products in assigned territory
  • Executes approved redistribution activity at the area level

2.      Merchandizing/ Promotional Activities

  • Conduct in-bar and other consumer focused promotional events
  • Ensure products are well merchandized on shelf
  • Ensure sited placement of POS merchandising materials

3.      Reporting

  • Report on state of Billboards/out of Home {OOH} and POS deployment.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Effective redistribution of all the company’s product.
  • Ensure high level of brand awareness, product penetration and up-to-date competition data/details in his assigned area.
  • Effective spread/width of material deployment.
  • Proper monitoring of Billboards and company’s assets in his custody.

Reports to: Area Sales Manager

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years(post NYSC experience in Sales)
  • HND/BSC degree in any discipline
