Responsibilities

A reputable hotel located in Lekki/Ajah environment needs qualified and experienced Plumber that  will be responsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation and repair of the plumbing systems in our commercial and residential buildings. Job Description

  • Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
  • Respond to plumbing calls from our general contracting team
  • Install plumbing systems in new construction and rehab properties
  • Work with our Expeditor to obtain permits for plumbing work to be performed
  • Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing so that systems pass inspection the first time
  • To ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health & Safety and other relevant legislation, and County Property Divisions Codes of Practice
  • To ensure that all necessary paperwork in assisting with Schedule of Rates is completed and returned to the appropriate administrative centre in accordance with established procedures.
  • To provide a service to clients and maintain a good customer relationship as a priority
  • To act at all times as a representative of the Department and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied

Minimum: S.S.C.E.

General Requirements

Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of SSCE  and applicable experience or successful track record with 2 to 6 years’ experience.

Skills and Attitudinal Applicable

  • Current plumbing license
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems
  • Understanding of the current regulations within the field
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
