Responsibilities
â— Lead on the development of Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks and Performance Monitoring Plan. â— Plan and oversee MEL data collection and analyze such data to ensure relevancy and accuracy on a regular basis. â— Support the program management to integrate MEL data into program planning. â— Share analyses and trends with project team members to help synchronize project decision-making processes with MEL results. â— Monitor, review and analyze reports for impact evaluation. â— Recommend changes to performance monitoring and work plans. â— Supervise the data collection and management process from primary data source to final reporting to ensure quality. â— Develop and manage a data quality assessment system for the program. â— Conduct periodic data verification exercises and provide feedback with recommendations for improvement. â— Ensure databases are updated regularly. â— Support the documentation of best practices and facilitate the use of such data to drive program design and decision making.

General Requirements
â— Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, agricultural sciences or other relevant fields, A Master’s degree in relevant field will be an added advantage. â— 5 years of experience related to monitoring and evaluation required. â— Ability to develop well written, cohesive analyses and reports. â— Excellent communication, analytical and strategy skills. Proven experience with relationship building and team-building skills. â— Experience with relevant software packages, including Microsoft Excel and SPSS. â— Experience in using Commcare will be an added advantage.
