Responsibilities
- Assist in the disassembly, inspection, and cleaning of various types of valves including ball, gate, butterfly, globe, and pressure safety valves.
- Support in the pressure testing and calibration of valves using appropriate test equipment under supervision.
- Carry out tagging and documentation of valve components and service records.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload valves and equipment using appropriate rigging tools as instructed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the valve repair workspace.
- Perform measurement and basic diagnostics using measuring tools such as calipers, dial gauges, and micrometers.
- Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Assist in shipping, receiving, packaging, and staging valves and spare parts.
- Comply with standard operating procedures and ISO maintenance guidelines.

General Requirements
- B. Eng. in General Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and other related disciplines.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Must be an Angolan citizen
- Must be bi-lingual (English & Portuguese)
- Problem-solving Skills
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to learn and understand valve diagnostics is essential.
- Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Good understanding of safety procedures and mechanical tools.
- Knowledge of Hydrostatic / Gas testing of valves and piping systems.
- Knowledge of installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing mechanical and pressure safety valves or similarly related equipment.
- Removal and Installation of Pressure Safety Valves.
